Do I Need A Website? Or Can I Just Use Facebook?
To be honest, these days you should really have both. There’s so much competition out there fighting for the traffic on every platform that it only makes sense to get your share on the largest platforms. This would include having your own website, Business Facebook Page, Google My Business listing, among other things.
What Is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine’s unpaid results—often referred to as “natural,” “organic,” or “earned” results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine’s users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search, news search and industry-specific vertical search engines.
How Much Does A Website Cost?
It really depends on what you’re trying to do. Sometimes all you need in order to generate sales is a landing page and some well written ads. More often than not you’ll need a website where people can find you on Google in order to generate traffic and sales.
But the cost of a website isn’t really what matters. If you invest $5,000 in a website that brings you $50,000/mo in revenue within 8 to 12 months, then you’re probably going to be happy. If you invest $500 in a website and it maybe brings you a few leads here and there but never a positive ROI, then you’re not really getting a good deal for your money.
That’s why we only build websites that actually perform and bring you a positive ROI.
How much Does SEO Cost?
It really depends on how quickly you want to get results. The more you are willing to invest in your SEO and Online Marketing in general (including your time), the quicker you are going to see results and a return on your investment.
Search Engines are looking for very specific things to indicate that you should be ranked in the top position. In order to set all of these things in place, it takes months and months of hard work. But the results are well worth it. Free ongoing traffic that’s looking for exactly what you’re selling.
Is SEO An Ongoing Process?
Yes, it’s not something that you can have a serious effect on overnight. It takes time to get results and for good reason. Google and other search engines don’t want people to be able to manipulate results.
In order to rank nowadays, you have to be doing everything correctly for Google and other search engines to give your website the stamp of approval for first page rankings. Gimmicky tactics don’t work anymore. Google has gotten really and I mean really sophisticated.
If you want to build a long-term asset online, you need to do things the right way. Doing things the wrong way and trying to manipulate Google could get your website permanently blacklisted from the search engine. So, make sure you take this seriously and get in touch with Online Marketing Professionals.
How Long Does It Take To Rank In Google
It really depends on how you are defining things. But in general, if you just bought your domain today and you were in a reasonably un-competitive niche (like most small and local businesses are), it would likely take between 8 and 12 months to rank on the first page for main keywords.
In more competitive niches, it might take 15 months or more but you will start to see traffic long before you are dominating the first page of Google. Over half of all search engine entries have never been seen before by Google which means people search for things differently.
Your website will naturally be more optimized for some searches than others and you will see traffic for what we call “long tail keywords” before you start ranking on the first page for your main keywords.
