How can you create scalable funnels that get a solid ROI from paid traffic? cold traffic into profit is hard.<\/p>\n<p>But, if you have an awesome funnel and you plan your ad campaigns effectively with a funnel ROI calculator, you can advertise with confidence and seriously change the economics of your business.<\/p>\n<p>More about this in just a second.<\/p>\n<p>Webinar funnels are one of the 7 main online sales funnels that I use in my business and in my clients\u2019 businesses to convert cold traffic into profit.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what a standard <em><strong>webinar funnel<\/strong><\/em> looks like:<\/p>\n<p>To profit from cold traffic, you need to understand the \u2018optimization metrics\u2019 involved in your webinar funnel.<\/p>\n<p>Optimization metrics are the \u2018micro\u2019 metrics that you can optimize to increase your overall \u2018macro\u2019 metrics, like sales and ROI.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you\u2019re running Facebook ads to a\u00a0webinar\u00a0funnel:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will have a campaign budget<\/li>\n<li>You will have a\u00a0cost per click (CPC) from the paid traffic you\u2019re running<\/li>\n<li>A percentage of people will register\u00a0for your webinar<\/li>\n<li>A percentage of people will attend your LIVE webinar<\/li>\n<li>A percentage of people will watch your webinar REPLAY<\/li>\n<li>A percentage of people will buy your webinar\u00a0offer, which will have a certain price point (generally from $500 to $2,000)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2026and each of the above metrics will impact your ROI.<\/p>\n<p>Other than the all mighty ROI metric, my favorite metrics are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>EPC (Earnings Per Click)<\/li>\n<li>EPL (Earnings Per Lead)<\/li>\n<li>EPWA (Earnings Per Webinar Attendee) and<\/li>\n<li>ACV (Average Cart Value)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2026because they show you, in the context of a webinar funnel, how much you can afford to pay for a click, webinar registrant, webinar attendee, and sale and still remain ROI positive.<\/p>\n<p>Now, an 87% ROI isn\u2019t a bad starting point however we want our ROI to be at least 100% so we can finance our ad costs with our sales but what\u00a0we really want is our ROI to be 200% or more so we can make a handy profit.<\/p>\n<p>One thing you will discover from using my webinar\u00a0funnel ROI calculator is how small improvements in some of your optimization\u00a0metrics will massively increase your ROI.<\/p>\n<p>For example, holding all else equal, if we decrease our CPC from $2 to $1 and increase our webinar registration rate from 30% to 40%\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2026Our ROI increases from 87% to 233%.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a graphic make $2.33 (profiting $1.33)!<\/p>\n<p>As you can see from the breakdown of the metrics involved in this funnel, if you get decent conversions throughout your funnel, you can get a decent ROI on your ad spend and acquire a lot of leads and customers!<\/p>\n<p>However, a large percentage of people will drop off at each step in your funnel.<\/p>\n<p>For example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some people will land on your webinar registration page and not register for your webinar<\/li>\n<li>Some people will\u00a0register for\u00a0your webinar and not attend<\/li>\n<li>Some people will\u00a0attend your webinar and not buy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is why I recommend utilizing <strong>retargeting<\/strong> and <strong>email marketing<\/strong> to ascend people through your funnel.<\/p>\n<p>You can ascend website visitors into webinar registrants (by having a specific retargeting campaign that sends them back to the webinar registration\u00a0page)\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You can increase your webinar attendance rate\u00a0(by having a specific retargeting campaign and email sequence that indoctrinate webinar registrants and reminds\u00a0them of the webinar)\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You can also ascend webinar attendees into buyers\u00a0(by having a specific retargeting campaign and email sequence that overcomes objections and sends them to the checkout page)\u2026<\/p>\n<p>If you are doing live webinars, you can export a report from GoToWebinar which will give you the email addresses of everyone who [1] attended, [2] stayed until your pitch and [3] bought.<\/p>\n<p>If you are doing automated webinars, you can segment your webinar attendees in a similar way with custom retargeting audiences and\u00a0advanced\u00a0email automation.<\/p>\n<p>So now that you know how all of the numbers work together, you need What a concept, right?<\/p>\n<p>For example, in my strategy sessions, I get the prospect to show me their current marketing funnel and their current results in terms of traffic and conversions, then I identify the \u2018ROI killers\u2019 and come up with a plan to boost their funnel\u2019s ROI. Then, more often than not, they\u2019ll be so impressed with the level of expertise I show on the call that they\u2019ll say something like:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSounds like you really know what you\u2019re talking about.
